Hot operational
HANA / database

Detail
Hot data moves to archive when residence expires. In parallel, the hot set moves through a governed extract into analytics. Retrieval is a controlled path back from archive — not an ODP pull.
- ILM configuration and volume modelling live on the data lifecycle page
- The extract catalog excludes archived-only objects unless rehydration is approved
- Lake retention is independent of SAP residence where legally required
